Ken is looking for: A Room / Apartment in Eindhoven

My name is Ken Imaizumi, I’m Japanese and am an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at TU Eindhoven. I’ve spent the last 15 years in Ho Chi Minh City completing the IB program, and I’m moving to the Netherlands and looking for a stable, long-term living situation for the duration of my 3-year degree.

FINANCIAL SITUATION:

For my financial situation, my studies will be funded by my family's business, Amocc, a furniture and software firm operating in Japan and Vietnam. We have a long-standing history of financial stability and can provide audited financial statements or a bank guarantee upon request. My father will act as my legal guarantor, and I am prepared to pay a larger deposit/rent in advance to ensure total security for the lease.

PERSONAL DETAILS:

As a Japanese student, I take pride in maintaining a respectful as well as a quiet, and clean environment as it’s just how I function best. Moreover, as an only child growing up in Ho Chi Minh City, I’ve become very independent and adaptable to different cultures. I’m fully comfortable managing my own household responsibilities, and spending a lot of time alone around the house.

While I definitely value my own time and space for my studies, I’m an outgoing person who gets along well with everyone. I’m a big fan of cooking and would love to share some Japanese dishes with the house! I am a non-smoker with no pets, and I do not play any musical instruments. Socially, I would say I prefer a relaxed environment with close friends over the clubbing scene, especially since I'll be dedicating a lot of focus my engineering major.

LIFESTYLE:

Outside of my studies, I’m deeply passionate about football and skiing. Thus, as a person that is very active and loves exploring new surroundings, I tend to be out quite a bit between training and discovery. I’m looking for a home that is friendly and social, but also understands when I’m grinding for my studies.
